    How to use

Everything you enter is processed only in this browser.

    1. 01

Enter whichever you know: m² or pyeong

    2. 02

Tap a Korean apartment type to see its common pyeong name

    3. 03

Calculate the pyeong of a room from its width and length

How it works and good to know

One pyeong (the Korean area unit) is 400/121 m², about 3.3058 m². The m² and pyeong fields are linked, so editing one updates the other. A Korean apartment called a “34-pyeong type” is usually named after its supply area (exclusive + shared residential area) in pyeong, which differs from the exclusive area in pyeong. The common pyeong name for each type can be off by a pyeong or two depending on the complex’s shared area. Enter the supply area to calculate the exclusive-area ratio.

A 84 m² unit is 25.4 pyeong by exclusive area, but Korean sales ads and price listings usually call it a 32~34 pyeong type by supply area. Shared areas differ by complex, so it can be off by a pyeong or two.
