How it works and good to know
Follows the Korean Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s English address guidance (smallest unit first; a recommended format). English names of provinces, cities, districts, towns and roads come from the ministry’s road-name address data (August 2026); a road not in the data is romanized by rule and marked as such (-daero, -ro, -gil, Nbeon-gil). Units are written short (705-1104, 3F, B101) or romanized (705-dong 1104-ho). Postal codes can’t be derived from the address, so none is invented, and English names of apartment complexes aren’t made up. Lot-number addresses are pointed to the road-name lookup. Addresses are converted in your browser and never sent to a server.
