How to use
Everything you enter is processed only in this browser.
Choose solo play (computer: easy, normal or hard), two players on one device, or online play (quick match, create a room or join with a code)
Click an empty point to place a stone. Online you can only move on your turn, and you can chat with your opponent
Make five in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win. Wins earn coins you can spend on board and stone skins
How it works and good to know
This embeds the original gomoku-online app, served from utilpick.com/play/gomoku/. Rules: renju (only Black is barred from 3-3, 4-4 and overlines), forbidden moves for both sides, or free gomoku. The computer thinks inside your browser. Online games connect through the utilpick.com server (Socket.IO), which stores only a random player ID, nickname, record and room details. Coins, the shop and your solo record stay in this browser’s storage. Online, only the player who made the last move can ask to undo it, and only that one move is removed. The game screen is in Korean.
