How it works and good to know

Durations accept h:mm:ss, h:mm (or read as m:ss if you choose), 1 hour 20 min 5 s, 1h 20m and 2.5 hours; plain numbers are read as minutes. Between two times, an end earlier than the start counts as the next day, past midnight. Sum of lines takes up to 500 lines, reads only the duration at the end of each line, and subtracts lines starting with -. Results are rounded to the second, up to 9,999 hours. For date differences use the Date, D-Day & Anniversary Calculator, and for work hours the Hourly Pay & Work Hours (Korea) tool.
