How it works and good to know
Accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC and SVG — up to 20 files at once, 20 MB each and 100 MB in total. Image size stays the same; only SVG is drawn at the width you choose. JPG can’t hold transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white, black or a color you pick, while PNG, WebP and AVIF keep it. PNG is lossless and JPG, WebP and AVIF default to quality 90. Animated GIF, APNG and WebP are saved as the first frame. Photo rotation is applied and metadata such as location (EXIF) is removed. Some Safari versions can’t save WebP, and the tool says so instead of offering it.
