How to use Merge PDF
Gather the documents to merge
Add the PDFs you will submit together, such as a cover and main text, and check the file names and page counts. Click 'Start with an example' to try the feature with two two-page documents.
Arrange them in reading order
Use the move up and move down buttons to change the file order. Entering something like 1-3, 5 in a file's range brings in only the parts you need. The order of the sections you enter is kept, and a page specified more than once is included only once.
Check the direction and the total
Rotation applies to all the pages you include from the selected file. Check the total page count of the finished document and click Merge PDFs.
Open the result and check it
Click Save merged PDF to get the new file. Signatures, bookmarks and form fields can behave differently from the originals, so check the result before you submit. If you change a setting, you need to merge again.

Prepare the cover, the main text and attachments as PDFs and add them. Use the move up and move down buttons to set the file order, and enter a page range for each document to merge only the parts you need. An empty range means all pages, and you can give several sections such as 1-3, 5.
Keep the originals and merge only the pages you need
Rotation applies to all pages of the selected file. It does not overwrite your original files and downloads a new PDF, and pages of different sizes keep their sizes. Bookmarks, digital signatures and form fields can differ from the originals after merging, so open the result and check it before you submit.

When the result isn’t what you expected
I cannot click the button
Check that there are two or more PDFs and that you have not entered 0 or a number larger than the last page. If the total goes over 200 pages, pick only the pages you need.
A file is not added
Damaged documents and password-protected PDFs cannot be read. Save a copy of the PDF without a password in the original program. If a newly chosen batch has an error, that batch is not added and the existing list is kept.
It takes a long time on a large document
Speed depends on your device and the contents of the document. Cancelling may take effect after the current step ends. The file list stays, so you can narrow the range and merge again.

How many PDFs can I merge?
You can add 2 to 20 PDFs, up to 20MB per file and 100MB in total. The total of selected pages is at most 200, and the saved result is up to 100MB.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Remove the password in the original program, save a copy and add that.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
Merging is processed inside your browser. The PDFs you choose are not sent to a conversion server.
Can I include the same page twice?
A number specified more than once in one file's range is counted once. If you add the same file as separate entries and set a range for each, they can be included separately.
Does it edit the text of the merged document?
It only combines pages. To change the text or pictures, edit the original and then merge again.
