How it works and good to know

Takes one animated GIF up to 200 MB, 20,000 frames, and 10 minutes total. Uses the WebCodecs H.264 encoder directly in your browser without uploading files to a server. Because MP4 has no transparency, transparent pixels are filled with your chosen background color (default white). Ideal for platforms like Instagram that reject GIFs, and the resulting MP4 is typically much smaller in file size. Odd width or height gets 1px padding to satisfy H.264 even-dimension requirements.
